Kia Sorento

Sometimes, size is important – it’s certainly the case as far as the Kia Sorento is concerned. This impressive SUV provides room for seven people inside and still manages to include a boot that offers plenty of flexible potential. The Sorento represents an exciting alternative to some of the more conservative people movers available – and if you have a larger than average family, it might just be the perfect choice. In case you’re sitting on the fence, did we mention that it comes with a seven-year warranty?

Discover the new Kia Sorento Even before you get the chance to look inside, the Kia Sorento makes quite a statement. There’s something incredibly reassuring about its rugged good looks, which give off a palpable aura of confidence. It’s a stylish vehicle too, and one that rides on minimum-size 17-inch alloy wheels. You’ll also spot a number of eye-catching chrome embellishments, such as window surrounds and door handles. Accessibility is made easy thanks to big doors and a middle row of seats that slide backwards and forwards. Inside, there’s plenty of room for five adults in the front two rows, while a pair of younger travellers are easily accommodated by the rearmost seats. With five seats in place, cargo capacity stands at 605 litres – rising to as much as 1,662 litres with the second row folded.
Your flexible friend The Sorento’s middle row of seats offers 40/20/40 split-folding flexibility. With rearmost seats dropped, you are presented with lots of useful storage options, making it possible to accommodate lengthy cargo and up to two rear-seated travellers at the same time. Furthermore, the car is fitted with roof rails, allowing you to bring even more things with you, such as bikes or surfboards.
Entertaining trips With a full complement of travellers, the challenge of keeping everyone happy isn’t necessarily an easy one, particularly if you have a long journey ahead. Happily, the Sorento’s minimum six-speaker sound system should go a long way towards keeping the peace. With an AM/FM tuner and DAB digital radio, and Bluetooth for streaming music, you’ll have no shortage of things to listen to.
Calm and connected The Sorento’s eight-inch touchscreen provides access to a number of satellite navigation features, allowing you to plan each trip and make last-minute adjustments where necessary. What’s more, you can safely use your smartphone thanks to the inclusion of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that enable you to mirror your device’s screen via the aforementioned touchscreen.
